Emulcee offers three product lines:
- Emulcee A: Provides excellent water resistance as well as moderate oil and grease resistance with heat seal
- Emulcee P: Provides excellent oil and grease resistance with heat seal
- Oxy–Barr: Ensures higher shelf life with lowest oxygen transmission rate values, best suitable for flexible substrates.
Emulcee–A–EMA–001:
EMULCEE–A is a water-based coating solution, developed to provide high level of barrier properties to various types of paper & paperboard substrates. This compostable coating solution is certified food grade and suitable for Food packaging applications. The Emulsion meets US FDA Requirement as per US 21 CFR 176.170 Clause (c) and (d), PFAs Test, SVHC standards, repulpability and compostability.
Salient Features:
- Excellent heat sealability & water resistance.
- Good oil & grease resistance.
- Used for direct food packaging applications.
End Applications:
- Paper cups, tubs & lids, ice cream packaging
- SBS Board/ OGR paper/ HSL Kraft and many more

Application Method:
- The emulsion is applied through Gravure, Air–knife or Flexo.
- Hot air-drying curing system.
- Running viscosity to be maintained at 20 – 40 seconds (B4 cup).
- Gravure roller should be kept under continuous rotation to avoid film formation of emulsion.
- Advised to avoid dilution with water.

EMULCEE–A–EMA–OGR02 is a water-based coating solution, developed to provide high level of barrier properties to various types of paper & paperboard substrates. This compostable coating solution is certified food grade and suitable for Food packaging applications. The Emulsion meets US FDA Requirement as per US 21 CFR 176.170 Clause (c) and (d), PFAs Test, SVHC standards, repulpability and compostability.

Application Method:
- The emulsion is applied through Gravure or Air-knife.
- Minimum 6 – 7 GSM coat weight to be maintained.
- Hot air-drying system is suggested with temperature maintained at 110°C.
- The gravure roller should be kept under continuous rotation to avoid film formation of coating solution.
- Advised to avoid dilution with water.

- Advised to avoid dilution with water.

Emulcee–P:
EMULCEE-P is a solvent-based biopolymer coating solution, developed to provide high level of Oil and grease resistance property to various types of paper & paper board substrates. This compostable coating solution is certified food grade and suitable for Food packaging applications. The Emulsion meets US FDA Requirement as per US 21 CFR 176.170 Clause (c) and (d), PFAs Test, SVHC standards, repulpability, compostability and plastic free.

Oxy–Barr:
Oxy–Barr is a speciality water-based highly dispersed Biopolymeric Oxygen Barrier Emulsion for coating polymer and paper substrates. The emulsion is formulated to offer extremely low OTR and high aroma barrier properties to the coated substrate and is suitable for packaging applications for food snacks, fragrances, personal care and soap wrappers.
Salient Features:
- Excellent gas and aroma barrier
- Improves the tear strength of coated paper and paperboards.
Application Method:
- The emulsion is applied through Gravure or Flexo.
- Hot air-drying curing system.
- Gravure Roller must be cleaned before coating the substrate with Emulcee P to avoid patches on the film.
- Running viscosity (Ford B4 Cup) to be maintained at 150 – 180 seconds.
End Applications:
- BOPP, PET, etc…

We confirm that paper coated with Emulcee A and Emulcee P grades comply with and have obtained certificates the following:
- US FDA Requirement as per US 21 CFR 176.170, tested at Intertek.
- Perfluoroalkyl/Polyfluoro Alkyl Substances (PFAs) Test and SVHC standards, tested at Intertek.
- Repulpability tested at the Central Pulp and Paper Research Institute (CPPRI), Government of India.
- Compostability (as per IS-17088) – Tested at Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET), Government of India.
