Anti – weathering properties are enhanced with the incorporation of UV masterbatches and presence of particular active ingredients attributes as either food compliant or non-food compliant grades. Also, net active ingredient presence corresponds to retention values. The compatibility of below mentioned KONSPEC’s Range of UV masterbatches and their compliance to food contact applications are listed below.
UVKON 207 – Transparent variety of Polyethylene based masterbatch compatible with POLYOLEFINS, with 20% active ingredient is food contact approved.
UVKON 4014 – Transparent variety of Polypropylene based masterbatch compatible with POLYOLEFINS with 20% active ingredient is not food contact approved.
UVKON 2049 – Semi-transparent/translucent variety of Polyethylene based masterbatch compatible with POLYOLEFINS with 20% active ingredient is food contact approved.
UVKON 2046 – Semi-transparent/translucent variety of Polyethylene based masterbatch compatible with POLYOLEFINS with 20% active ingredient is not food contact approved.
UVKON 2050 – Opaque/whitish variety of Polyethylene based masterbatch compatible with POLYOLEFINS with 20% active ingredient is food contact approved.
UVKON 2045 – Opaque/whitish variety of Polyethylene based masterbatch compatible with POLYOLEFINS with 20% active ingredient is not food contact approved.
Customised products were also offered in combination with BLUE AND VIOLET TONES for the ease of convenience and efficient inventory management purposes.
HALS based UV Stabilizer Master Batches
UVKON 202-The above masterbatches contain HALS-based high molecular weight UV Stabilizer and a combination of hindered phenolic antioxidant and phosphite antioxidant. These synergic system provides excellent light stabilization and heat stabilization properties during service and melt processing respectively. This Master Batch is designed for high-temperature processing and its high activity with lower volatility to produce quality films. This stabilization system has the added advantage of being pesticide-resistant.
UVKON 203-This Master Batch is based on the high molecular weight of HALS light stabilizer.
This Master batch provides a good stabilization against UV light and have an limited resistance to pesticides. The user should carefully select the product by considering the pesticide effect.
This product is an economic choice for manufacturing agricultural films which are not in contact with pesticides.
Greenish UV stabilizer Master Batches for Agricultural films
UVKON 204– These Master batches are based on a nickel phenolate type of UV stabilizer and benzophenone UV absorber with a hinder phenolic and phosphite antioxidant combination.
This synergistic combination of stabilizer provide an excellent UV screening and photo stabilization effect with excellent pesticide resistance.
NOTE: This MB is the material of choice for quality agricultural films, which come in contact with pesticides.
UV KON 205– This Master Batch is based on a Nickel-Phenolate UV Stabilizer and benzophenone UV absorber with a phenolic and Phosphite antioxidant combination.
The combination of the above light and that stabilizer in MB provides good stabilization against UV radiations with pesticide resistance.
This product is an economic choice for the agricultural film which comes in contact with pesticides.
